This film is intended to benefit the entertainment industry on all levels throughout the Kansas City Metro area, as well as, the state of Missouri. With the success with faith based/ family films: Madea's Family reunion, The Passion of the Christ and Free Willy, these films have attracted national attention with their original content and profitability. Because of their success, we believe that entertainment in the Midwest can be an area that is a profitable and marketable to produce films in.

Our company has joined with such companies as; The African American Cinema Gallery,  Mindseed Corporation, West Ham Film of LA, Madison Law Firm and In Motion Films in an effort to make this film entertaining and financially beneficial. To make this venture reach our expectation, we will need businesses to collaborate, network and assist the film on several levels. The opportunity for collaboration is winding to a close.

The theatrical release titled Godly Ways will provide instant focus on all businesses involved. Your donation, collaboration or sponsorship will be greatly appreciated. Godly Ways by La’Nardo & Kinnette Myrick

Godly ways is about one man’s reluctance to see what many had testified to. And his near loss of spiritual hearing, seeing and believing.

Lenard Smith Sr. is offered the position of loan manager at a large bank in Baton Rouge, LA. Lenard decides to take his wife, LaShea and his son, Lenard Jr, with him. On the way, their vehicle breaks down. They are stranded. Lenard Jr. prays; believing what he heard from a pastor about prayer. Soon, after, a charter bus pulls up and that same pastor gives them a ride. The pastor’s church, Godly Ways, has come from a spirit filled revival in Kansas City, MO. On the bus, Lenard’s belief in man’s power and control clashes with their faith in God’s directing wisdom. Lenard sits through a series of personal testimonies about God’s redemptive plans. Godly Ways is the theme that rivets through the bus.

LaShea and LJ enjoy the energy and songs of praise but Lenard is miserable. Seemingly, unmoved by the testimonies, he falls to sleep. In his dreams, his eyes are opened to many Godly Ways that transpired in his life. The recounts bring Lenard a spiritual awareness that many never see.
